Jackets Continue Fall Campaign at Manchester Invitational

WABASH, Ind. – Sarah Westfall fired a 95 and was followed by a 97 from Phoenix Golnick and a 99 from Tara Miller, as the Defiance College women's golf team turned in a 392 to finish eighth at Saturday's Manchester Invitational.

Brittney Brooks of Indiana Wesleyan won the individual championship by carding an 80 to lead the Wildcats to the team title with a final score of 356.

IWU was followed in the team standings by Hope (357), St. Francis (358), Hanover (358), Trine (365), Manchester (381), Mount St. Joseph (381), Defiance (392) and Jackson Community College (421).

Defiance will play in the Heidelberg Invitational on September 22 and 23. Start times have not yet been announced.
