DC Women's Golf Competes at Anderson Invitational
ANDERSON, Ind. – The Defiance College women’s golf team played in the two-day Anderson Invitational over the weekend, with the Yellow Jackets shooting an 802 to end in eighth place in the team standings.
ANDERSON, Ind. – The Defiance College women's golf team played in the two-day Anderson Invitational over the weekend, with the Yellow Jackets shooting an 802 to end in eighth place in the team standings.
Phoenix Golnick paced the squad with a 188, while Sarah Westfall carded a 202 and Kelly Beard ended with a 203. Taylor Tuttle shot a 211 and Jessie Marsh turned in a 223 for the Yellow Jackets.
DePauw won the team championship by posting a 637 to edge Hanover by 10 shots. Transylvania placed third with a 653, while Olivet (656), Franklin (675), Manchester (716), Anderson (736) and Defiance rounded out the standings.
DC will be back in action on Saturday, September 11, when it hosts Manchester at 10:00 am. The match will be placed at Kettenring Country Club.
