Jackets Take Fourth at DC Invitational

Miller rallied with a 44 on the back nine to record a 91 and an 11th-place finish. Phoenix Golnick shot a 102 to finish in 21st, Kelly Beard turned in a 107 to take 24th, while Brittany Gow and Taylor Tuttle shot a 121 and 122 respectively.
Ohio Northern won the team championship by 31 strokes after notching a team score of 333. The Bears turned in the top two individual tallies of the day as well, with Emily Gedert firing a 79 and Ashley Johnson carding an 82.
ONU was followed in the standings by Northwestern Ohio (364), Heidelberg (404), Defiance (421) and Mount St. Joseph (433).
Defiance will now travel to Tiffin, Ohio on September 26 and 27 to compete in the two-day Heidelberg Invitational.
