Softball splits doubleheader against Heidelberg in home opener
The Defiance softball team split their home opener against Heidelberg on Wednesday falling in Game 1. 5-2, and taking Game 2, 7-4.

- Senior Taylor Biggs started on the mound for Defiance and pitched the first six innings. She allowed three runs off seven hits and notched three strikeouts.
