Three seniors named All-HCAC
GREENWOOD, Ind. – With the conclusion of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament, the 2014 All-HCAC Teams have been released.

Macy Ferrall (St. Marys, Ohio / Memorial), Maggie Neanen (Eaton, Ohio / Eaton), and Kailea Holbrook (Defiance, Ohio / Defiance) were all named to an All-HCAC Team for their senior year performance.
Ferrall led the way for the trio, being named Second Team All-HCAC. She led the Yellow Jackets in runs scored this season with 19. She also led DC in total bases with 41 along with a team leading 10 doubles. Her 10 doubles ranked 11th in the HCAC this season. She also forced a lot of outs for the Yellow Jackets in the field ranking sixth in the conference in assists with 79.
The second senior, Neanen, was named to the Honorable Mention All-HCAC Team. She was very solid for the Yellow Jackets all year in the field with a .951 fielding percentage. She had just 8 errors on 108 putouts and 47 assists. She ranked 12th in putouts and 22nd in assists. At the plate she tied for the team led in triples and hits with one and 28, respectively.
Holbrook had a good year for DC on the mound. She ranked fifth in the conference in ERA with a 3.15. In 11 starts, Holbrook was able to complete 10 games. She ranked first for DC in games won with three. At the plate she led DC in sacrifice hits with seven on the season. For her efforts, Holbrook was named to the HCAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
