Krick Heads DC at All-Ohio Championships
CEDERVILLE, Ohio – The Defiance men’s cross country team performed well in the annual All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville, Ohio on Saturday, September 29. Senior Hayden Krick finished first for the Yellow Jackets with a time of 26:19.11. He finished 87th overall, while being 16th amongst NCAA Division III schools.
CEDERVILLE, Ohio – The Defiance men's cross country team performed well in the annual All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville, Ohio on Saturday, September 29. Senior Hayden Krick finished first for the Yellow Jackets with a time of 26:19.11. He finished 87th overall, while being 16th amongst NCAA Division III schools. On the afternoon, other runners for DC that recorded decent times for the squad were Joe Davis (27:16.78), Josh Hilton (27:38.72), and Jacob Whisler (27:59.03). All three finished in the top 85 of runners from division III. Whisler, a freshman, set a new personal record with his run. Cincinnati University finished first overall out of the 44 schools that competed on the day. For division III, Case Western University came out on top of the 22 schools in the meet that were from division III. Defiance will be off next weekend and will return to action Friday, October, 12 when they run at the Wilmington Invitational. The meet is set for 4:30 p.m. |
