DC picked fifth in preseason poll

The poll of the conference's ten coaches saw a unanimous first place finish for Rose-Hulman, receiving all first place votes for 100 points. DC saw a good amount of points come its way as well, receiving 66.
The fifth place vote is exactly where the track and field team finished in the HCAC Indoor Championship just a month ago, coming in fifth place with 61.5 points.
The Yellow Jackets placed five athletes on the Athletes to Watch list. It features three distance runners, a sprinter, and a thrower.
Joe Davis (Ontario, Ohio / Ontario), Troy Parrett (Cedarville, Ohio / Cedarville), and Madison Murphy (Westerville, Ohio / Thomas Washington) are the distance runners on the list for the Yellow Jackets.
Anthony Nolfi (Akron, Ohio / Ravenna Southeast) is the thrower selected and Ryan Johnston (Defiance, Ohio / Ayersville) the sprinter for the Yellow Jackets.
DC's first outdoor meet will be this Saturday at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational. Start time is set for 12:30 p.m.
