It was no surprise for anybody there to see Parrett finish first in the 800-meter dash. It is the third year in a row that the junior has been crown the All-Ohio Division III Champ in the event. Parrett did so in exciting fashion, edging out the runner-up by .01 with a winning time of 1:53.57.
Davis also picked up a win for the Yellow Jackets. He won the 1,500-meter race with a time of 3:59.86. The mark was Davis' best time in the event for his career. The time was also the only 1,500 time that broke the four minute mark at the All-Ohio Championship.
The hammer throw also brought in another personal record. Nolfi threw for a distance of 49.13 meters. He bested his career mark by over a meter. The throw also landed him in fifth place at the meet.
DC has a short week to get ready for its next meet, when the Yellow Jackets travel to Anderson on Thursday. Meet time is set to begin at 2 p.m.
