The meet not only featured DI Butler, but also DI powerhouses like Marquette and Xavier.
Parrett (Cedarville, Ohio / Cedarville) showed he belonged in a big way. He ran away with the 800-meter run, finishing with a time of 1:53.23, nearly three seconds ahead of the runner-up. That is the 29th fastest time in NCAA DIII this season.
Wilson (Mims, Fla. / Astronaut) also proved that she had the right to run against DI level schools. She won the 100-meter and 200-meter races. She ranks 34th in DIII now with a 12.26. She won the 200-meter race with 25.57, winning by more than a second.
In the triple jump, Sarfino (Mims, Fla. / Astronaut) finished second. Her distance of 10.39 meters was good enough for the two spot.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action at the Dr. Keeler Invitational. The May 9 and 10 event will be held in Naperville, Ohio.
