Several athletes finish strong in Dr. Keeler Meet
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – For the second straight day, several track and field athletes made the trip across Indiana and into Illinois to compete in the Dr. Keeler Meet.

A couple personal records fell in the meet and a national ranking even improved in the 800-meter run.
Kim Bingley (Ottawa, Ohio / Ottawa-Glandorf) was one of the individuals that set her personal best. She set her new PR in the long jump with a jump of 5.28 meters. That mark was also good enough to finish her in 11th place in the event. Bingley also participated in the 400-meter hurdles and the javelin throw. She saw her best finish on the day in the javelin throw. She finished fourth with a throw of 35.24 meters. In the 400-meter hurdles she finished with a 1:03.98 which was good enough for seventh.
With his time of 1:52.53, Troy Parrett (Cedarville, Ohio / Cedarville) improved his national NCAA DIII ranking to 23 in the 800-meter run. He also was able to grab ninth place in the race.
Josh Hilton (Antwerp, Ohio / Antwerp) also saw a new personal record in his second day at the Dr. Keeler Meet. In the 1,500-meter run, he finished with a 4:16.28 to shatter his old personal best time.
The freshman pair of Micah Wilson (Mims, Fla. / Astronaut) and Maggie Sarfino (Dayton, Ohio / Kettering Fairmont) also made the trip for DC.
Wilson saw her best finish in the 100-meter dash. She finished in second place with a time of 12.52. She also finished in seventh place with a 25.37 in the 200-meter dash. That time was also good enough to win her heat.
In the triple jump, Sarfino finished in 10th place. She achieved the top 10 finish with a jump of 10.58 meters.
