In conference tournament play, if a team wins five games the match is counted as completed without needing to finish the rest of the games.
James Demeo (Oregon, Ohio / Clay), Justin Walker (Wlison, N.C. / Hunt), and Cord Speelman (Bryan, Ohio / Bryan) all were not required to finish their single matches due to DC dropping five of the first six games.
Speelman and Walker did make the most of their doubles match, however, as they won the lone match for the Yellow Jackets. The duo won in exciting fashion by a score of 9-8. The match was decided by a tie breaker which Speelman and Walker won 7-3.
Ryan Nelson (Oregon, Ohio / Clay) gave the best run in singles play. He fell in two but kept both games very close. He fell to the Franklin opponent 6-3, 7-5.
DC ends the season with an 11-9 record and 5-3 in HCAC play.
