DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College men's tennis program notched its fourth victory in its last five matches on Friday afternoon, as the Yellow Jackets pulled out a 6-3 win over non-conference opponent Bethel College.
The Purple and Gold claimed points in two out of the three doubles matches, as each position was highly competitive. The one doubles team of Ryan Nelson and Cord Speelman held off the Pilots by a final of 9-7, while Mike Ross and Craig Bills recorded an 8-5 victory.

The win marks the first time the team recorded multiple three-set wins in a match.
