DC Men Notch Road Victory Over Central State
WILBERFORCE, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets traveled to Central State University on Wednesday for a non-conference men’s tennis match and came home with a convincing, 8-1, victory.

Defiance set the tone by sweeping doubles play, as Austin Gray teamed with Mark Vandevender for an 8-0 win at No. 2 and Craig Bills hooked up with Chance Brown for an 8-0 win at No. 3.
Gray and Vandevender would then send DC to the team win by scoring straight-set victories at No. 2 and No.3 singles for the Purple and Gold.
DC (3-16, 0-6 HCAC) will play at Anderson on Thursday at 4:00 pm, before closing out the 2011 regular season with a tri-match at the Dix Tennis Facility on Saturday beginning at 9:00 am.
