Jackets Jump Back Into HCAC Action

LEXINGTON, Ky. – After hosting three-straight non-conference matches at the Dix Tennis Facility and fresh off a 9-0 win over Central State, the DC men's tennis team suffered a pair of 9-0 setbacks to Transylvania and Earlham in conference competition.

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference tri-match took place at Transylvania, where DC lost to the Pioneers in the first match of the day. Defiance then dropped its contest with Earlham to fall to 0-6 in league action and 2-16 overall.

DC will play its fifth match in the last six days when it hosts Adrian on Monday at 4:00 pm.
