Jackets Fall to Baldwin-Wallace

MEDINA, Ohio – The Defiance College men's tennis team continued its early-season schedule with a non-conference clash at Baldwin-Wallace on Saturday. The visiting Yellow Jackets failed to win a set on the afternoon, en route to the 9-0 defeat.
DC's top doubles tandem of Tyler Ault and Adam Fausey fell by an 8-5 count and the No. 2 team of Tim Kurtz and Austin Kleman dropped a tight, 8-6, contest. The Jackets then lost the third doubles matchup, 8-1, and dropped all six singles matches in straight sets.
Defiance (1-2) will play again on February 26 at 4:00 pm at Adrian. The Jackets opened the season with a 7-2 win over AC one week ago.
