Clingaman cousins go 1-2 in Day 1 of Polar Bear Classic

Freshman Spencer Clingaman shot a 75 to take first, while his cousin senior Hayden Clingaman placed second with a 76 on Day 1 of Polar Bear Classic on Sunday afternoon.

The Basics

• The event was hosted by Ohio Northern and took place at the Colonial Golfers Club in Harrod, Ohio.
• The Yellow Jackets finished fourth out of nine teams and shot a combined team score of 319.
• Ohio Northern placed first at the event with a score of 317.

On The Course

• Freshman Spencer Clingaman finished first out of a 44-golfer field after shooting a 75.
• Senior Hayden Clingaman finished right behind Spencer in second after shooting a 76.
• Freshman Dane Harker ended the outing shooting an 81 and finished tied for 17th.
• Sophomore Dan Burgoyne placed 32nd and shot an 87.
• Freshman Kaleb Reiss finished tied for 33rd after shooting an 88.
