Men's Golf Ranks Seventh at Midway Point of the HCAC Golf Championship
FRANKLIN, Ind. – Freshman Hayden Clingaman (Stryker) leads men’s golf at the halfway point of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship hosted by Franklin College at the Fort Golf Resort on Sunday afternoon.

Clingaman wraps up the 36-hole weekend tied for 10th overall with 153 strokes (80-73).
Senior Alex Miday (Canton/St. Thomas) finished the weekend ranked 12th overall with 154 strokes (79-75), while freshman Daniel Acosta (Torreon, Mexico/Gary Gilchrist Academy) came in at 29th overall with 166 strokes (80-86).
Senior Adam McGinnis (Bloomville/Buckeye Central) and junior Stephan Dolan (Painesville Twp.) rounded out the scoring for the Purple and Gold as they both finished tied for 31st with a 166 respectively.
Defiance recorded a team score of 633 (318-315). Transylvania currently leads the nine team field with 588 strokes.
The Yellow Jackets will wrap-up the Conference Tournament on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 as they host the final two rounds at Eagle Rock Golf Club.
