DC Men’s Golf Competes at Muskingum Invitational
NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Defiance College men’s golf team competed in its third event of the spring season, this time playing at the two-round Muskingum Invitational. The Jackets turned in a final score of 666 and ended ninth in the team standings.

Mount Union ended with the best team score of the event and won the championship with its two-day total of 570. Muskingum was next at 597, while Ohio Northern (604), Baldwin-Wallace (605) and Denison (611) rounded out the top five.
Scott Miller of Mount Union claimed the individual medalist honor with a total of 139, edging out Baldwin-Wallace's Nick Bryan by two shots for the title.
Defiance was paced by Jace Neal's 156 and 30th-place finish. Neal was followed by Brian Jones' 163, Jared James' 171, Matt Gehring's 176 and Greg Vogt's 185.
The Jackets will continue their spring schedule on April 4 and 5 at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational.
