Men's Basketball wins thriller over Franklin

- Sophomore Dejsani Beamon led Defiance with a game-leading 19 points.
- Senior Marell Jordan posted 16 points.
- Junior Avonte Jones came off the bench to score 12 points.
- Sophomore Andre Edwards led the team with eight rebounds and four assists.

The Difference
- In the closing seconds of a tightly contested first half, the Grizzlies made a layup to take a slight 29-28 lead into the break.
- The back-and-forth battle continued throughout the second half until the Yellow Jackets reclaimed the lead in the final two minutes and converted ket free throws while playing tough defense to escape with the win.
- The Yellow Jackets forced three key turnovers in the final 40 seconds of play to close out the win.
