Defiance Places Four on HCAC All-Sportsmanship Team

Members of the HCAC All-Sportsmanship Team were selected by head coaches and their teammates as individuals who demonstrate the ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field or court of competition.
Nominees must be a member of an intercollegiate athletics team during the 2009-2010 academic year and must have demonstrated the values of respect and integrity in their daily participation of intercollegiate athletics.
Defiance College placed Nate Conley (men's basketball), Tasha Stucke (women's basketball), Aaron Demecs (men's indoor track and field) and Ashlyn Howell (women's indoor track and field) on the HCAC All-Sportsmanship Team for the winter seasons, joining the fall sport selections of Matt King (football), Ryan Nusbaum (men's cross country), Mindy DeLong (women's cross country), Hannah Davis (women's soccer), Joseph Loftis (men's soccer), Ashton Judis (volleyball), Taylor Tuttle (women's golf) and Chelsea French (women's tennis) on the list of DC student-athletes to be honored with this award during the 2009-2010 academic year.
