Pettaway Named to Community Versus Cancer All-Tourney Team
GREENCASTLE, Ind. – Anthony Pettaway led Defiance to a third-place showing in the Mike Rokicki Community Versus Cancer Challenge and has been named to the All-Tournament Team. Pettaway was one of five players honored from the two-day event.

The senior center paced the Yellow Jackets in their two games by shooting 70 percent from the field and averaging 16.5 points and 12.0 rebounds. Pettaway notched double-doubles in each contest, including a 17-point, 13-rebound effort in DC's 83-68 win over Earlham on Sunday afternoon.
Pettaway was joined on the All-Tournament Team by DePauw's David Gray and Mike Moore and Ohio Northern's duo of Sam Bastian and Kyle Meyer.
Pettaway scored 33 points in the two games, and is now just two points shy of becoming the 34th member of DC's 1,100-point club.
Pettaway and the Jackets (2-3, 0-0 HCAC) will begin their HCAC portion of the schedule on Saturday, December 6, when they play at Hanover (1-4, 0-0 HCAC) at 3:00 pm.
