The Toledo, Ohio, native is looking to build off a junior season in which he averaged 15.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per night on his way to earning National Association of Basketball Coaches All-American and HCAC Player-of-the-Year honors. Pettaway's numbers climbed in league action, where his 16.2 points, 8.7 boards and 1.8 blocked shots per game in 16 HCAC contests ranked him among the top three players in the league in each category.
Pettaway will enter his final collegiate campaign poised to mount an assault on DC's all-time scoring leaders. The rising senior is currently 39th in school history with 1,024 points and could climb into the top 15 with his third-straight season of over 400 points.
Pettaway and the Yellow Jackets will get started on Nov. 21 and 22 when they compete in the Albion College Tip-Off.
