Prep: Graduated in 2019 from Westside High School... Played football and baseball... Started out as a quarterback before moving to running back... Chosen first team all-region as a senior and second team all-region as a junior... Rushed for 2031 yards on 346 carries (5.9 average) and 23 touchdowns during his career... Ran 209 times for 1250 yards (6.0 average) and 15 touchdowns his final year... Team went 8-4 overall with a second-round Class AAA playoff appearance his senior season... Averaged 104.2 rushing yards per game over 12 contests in 2018... Had eight games in which he ran for 100 yards or more, including seven his senior year... Named his squad's Offensive Player of the Game seven times over his career... In baseball, he finished his career with a .320 batting average, .424 on-base percentage, 25 runs batted in, 25 runs scored and 14 stolen bases... Batted .406 as a sophomore... Originally committed to play football at Bayou Prep in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
