Bio

Corey Parks enters his first season as the head coach of the Defiance College eSports team.

Prior to Defiance, Parks spent most of his energy on in-game leading, as well as coaching ESEA's Invite, Professional, and Mountain Dew League, across the Counter Strike franchise. 

In addition, he has been competing in eSports for over a decade participating in various games, leagues, and tournaments. Parks has competed all around the country and has established himself in the games of Hearthstone ranking as a Legend, Overwatch ranking as a Grandmaster, and Counter-Strike ranking as Global Elite.

While serving as a coach the last three seasons, Parks has refined his recruiting techniques, boosted individual's mechanical and teamwork skills, planned and created practice schedules, team and individual strategy, and built competitive team environments. 

A native of California, Parks earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University in the summer of 2015.
