Miller Leads Yellow Jackets at All-Ohio Championships
CEDARVILLE, OHIO – The Defiance College women’s cross country team took four individuals to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Championships that took place on the campus of Cedarville University.
CEDARVILLE, OHIO – The Defiance College women's cross country team took four individuals to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Championships that took place on the campus of Cedarville University.
Defiance was led by junior Eme Miller (Portland, Ind. /Jay County) who ran a time of 22:54.14 and finished 12th overall. Sophomore Aaron Textor (Swanton) had the second quickest time for the Yellow Jackets crossing the line at 27:25.04. Senior Waverly Weaks (Liberty Center) crossed the line next on the team at the 30:42.56 minute mark followed by junior Kayla Miller (Wadsworth) who finished in 31:27.09.
The Yellow Jackets will return to action on Friday Oct. 16 when they travel to Wilmington, Ohio to compete in the Wilmington Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m.
