TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Junior Michael Parker (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North) connected on the game-winning shot with seven tenths of a second remaining to give the Defiance College men's basketball team a 73-72 win against Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology and a share of the Heartland Collegiate Conference regular-season championship.

DEFIANCE, OHIO -- The Defiance College men's basketball team posted a convincing 96-72 victory against Transylvania (Ky.) University despite a second-half scare by the Pioneers and was highlighted by a career performance by junior Michael Parker (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North) in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game at the Karl H. Weaner Center on senior day.

BLUFFTON, OHIO -- The Defiance College and Bluffton University men's basketball rivalry lived up its reputation once again following a last second three-pointer by the Beavers to tie the game at the end of regulation, the Yellow Jackets prevailed in overtime to capture the regular-season sweep between the two schools with a final of 76-72 in Bluffton.

DEFIANCE, OHIO -- Senior forward Wade Wooley (Wauseon) recorded his second straight double-double with 14 points and a career-tying and game-high 15 rebounds, but the Defiance College men's basketball team couldn't withstand a second-half offensive fleury by Anderson (Ind.) University and came out on the losing end of an 81-78 decision at the Karl H. Weaner Center.
