King named HCAC Defensive Athlete of the Week

CARMEL, Ind. - Senior defensive specialist Tre'Ana King (Toledo, Ohio / St. Ursula Academy) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Athlete of the week. 

King helped the Yellow Jackets to a 1-1 record last week with 20 digs in Wednesday's five-set thrilling win over Anderson and a game-high 34 digs in a loss against Hanover on Saturday. Her 34 digs against Hanover is a career-high. This is King's first Athlete of the Week award.

King and the Defiance volleyball team will travel to face HCAC foe Manchester tomorrow before hosting a tri-match with Tranvsylvanai and Adrian on Saturday.
