Carunchia Shines in Yellow Jacket Loss

DC's Katie Carunchia pulled off the only win of the day for the Yellow Jackets with a 6-4, 7-5 win in the No. 6 singles match. After starting the season 0-4 in the No. 4 singles spot, Carunchia's move to the No. 6 spot netted the senior her first singles victory of the season.
The Yellow Jackets will head to Fort Wayne, Ind. on Wednesday, September 15, for a match with the University of Saint Francis beginning at 4:00 p.m.
