ST. MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. – Defiance College women's soccer dropped a second straight decision, 2-0, on Saturday at St. Mary of the Woods in non-conference action. The Yellow Jackets are now 2-2 on the young season.
St. Mary of the Woods knocked in a pair of goals in the second half after outshooting DC 16-5. Sarah O'Shea knocked down four out of six shot attempts on goal, but suffered the losing decision between the pipe for Defiance. St. Mary of the Woods split time among three keepers in the net as their defense limited the Jackets to just one clean shot on goal.
The Yellow Jackets return to the pitch next Friday at Thiel for a 5 p.m. kickoff.
