Majewski places fifth, Smith eighth at NCAA Central Regional
Junior Seth Majewski placed fifth at 133-lbs while senior Alex Smith placed eighth at 141-lbs at the NCAA DIII Central Regional. As a team, the Yellow Jackets placed 16th out of 20 teams.

The Basics
- The two-day event was hosted by Adrian College in Adrian, Mich.
- Wabash College won the event with 168.5 points.
- The Yellow Jackets finished 16th with 19 points.
Notable Performances
- Majewski posted a 4-2 record at the event, winning two matches by tech fall and two by decision. In the fifth-place match, he won 7-2 over Jett Boots from Trine.
- Majewski's fifth-place regional finish is the highest in program history since the team returned to action in 2018. In 2020, Rosendo Beltran placed sixth at 125-lbs.
- Smith won two matches, both by decision on his way to his eighth-place finish.
- This marks the first time since the program was restarted that the Yellow Jackets had two wrestlers place at Regionals.
- Senior Cortez Bradley and junior Alejandro Castro each won a match in the tournament.
- Bradley won his first match of the event with a 17-5 major decision over Calvin Cai of Case Western Reserve.
- Castro also won his first match with a 5-0 victory over Manchester's Zach Morgan.
- The Yellow Jackets conclude the season with a 6-9 record in dual meets including a 4-1 record at home.
