Hubble Caps Impressive Week with HCAC Top Hitter Honors
RICHMOND, IND. - Freshman Kalin Hubble (Anderson, Ind.) capped her impressive week by being named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week for the first time this season.
RICHMOND, IND. - Freshman Kalin Hubble (Anderson, Ind.) capped her impressive week by being named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week for the first time this season.
Hubble finished the week with a .667 batting averaging going 6-for-9 at the dish with five RBI. She also recorded two homeruns with five runs scored, tying the all-time individual season homerun record with nine.
Following last weeks performance, Hubble improved her hit streak to 11 straight games including three hits in each of her last three starts.
She currently leads the HCAC in homeruns (9), RBI (29), and ranks third in batting average (.435).
The Yellow Jackets return to action Monday, April 22 as they travel to Cincinnati for an HCAC match-up with Mount St. Joseph. First at bat is set for 5:00 p.m.
