Men’s Harriers Place Sixth at Penn State Behrend Invitational
ERIE, Pa. – The men’s cross country team placed sixth out of 22 teams at the Penn State Behrend Invitational on Saturday, despite competing without their top returning runner, Justin Perkins, who is could not make the trip due to a scheduling conflict.

Hayden Krick continued an outstanding start to his sophomore campaign by leading all DC runners for a second-straight week. Out of 162 finishers at the race, Krick posted the 18th-fastest time as he completed the 8k course in 28:06.5. Seth Bidlack stepped up as the Yellow Jackets' number two runner with a time of 28:17.5 to place 23rd overall at the meet.
Each of DC's top-five finishers placed among the top-40 at the meet, with freshmen Joe Davis and Madison Murphy coming in at 28:50.1 and 28:52.1 respectively to claim the 31st and 33rd-place spots, and Aaron Fraley finishing 37th overall with a time of 29:00.6.
DC's Matt Rohlf came in at 30:37.1 to finish 56th at the meet, while Keiquan Blackmon rounded out the top-seven for Defiance with a time of 33:01.8.
Defiance will square off in a dual meet with the Bluffton Beavers on Friday, September 24. Bluffton will host the dual meet, which is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
