Women place 15th, men 18th at All-Ohio Championships
The Defiance women's track team placed 15th out of 16 teams at the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday while the men finished 18th out of 18 teams.

The Basics
- The event was hosted by Otterbein at the Otterbein University Clements Center.
- Mount Union won both team titles with the women recording 187 points and the men earning 186.5 points.
- The Defiance women earned three points while the men had five.
Notable Performances
- Freshman Traci Cross placed seventh in the women's 60-meters with a time of 8.12 seconds in the finals after recording a time of 7.99 in the prelims and earned two points for the Yellow Jackets.
- The women's 4x200 meter relay team of Cross, senior Lisa Markau, senior Katelyn Smith, and sophomore Destiny Oshodin placed eighth with a time of 1:54.78 to earn a point.
- Sophomore Tawon Cannon placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.52 seconds to earn five points for Defiance.
- Junior Ja'Qway Janvier finished ninth in the 200-meters with a time of 23.06 seconds.
- Freshman Jalen Corbin placed ninth in the 400-meters with a time of 52.20 seconds.
