Men's golf ties for fourth place at Polar Bear Easter Classic
The Defiance men's golf team tied for fourth place out of seven teams at the Polar Bear Easter Classic on Friday. Freshman Kaleb Reiss tied for 17th place overall by shooting an 85.

The Basics
- The event was hosted by Ohio Northern University at the Colonial Golfers Club, Harrod, Ohio. Par for the course was 72.
- Tiffin claimed first place edging out ONU by one stroke 318 to 319.
- Defiance tied with Olivet for fourth place with a score of 348.
- Tiffin's Colton Vincelette was named the medalist over ONU's Jared Hernandez in a tiebreak. Both players shot a 77.
Yellow Jacket Results
- Reiss was the top finisher for Defiance and tied with Heidelberg's Connor Vanskyock and ONU's Andrew Lyon for 17th.
- Sophomore Dan Burgoyne and freshman Dane Harker tied for 21st with a score of 87. Also tied for 21st was Grant Voissard from Tiffin and Trent Platfoot from Northwest Ohio.
- Freshman Spencer Clingaman tied with Olivet's Liam Carter for 30th place with an 89.
