Bio
Dion Black joined the Defiance coaching staff prior to the 2023 season.
During his first season instructing the Jackets defense, Coach Black's unit took five points off the prior season's scoring average and allowed nearly 30 yards per game less. DC's two First Team All-Conference selections were on the defensive side of the football in 2023 and had four total All-Conference performers.
