Senior student-athletes recognized at 2024 Swarm Awards

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College Athletic Department held the 2024 Swarm Awards on Sunday night to recognize the athletic and academic achievements of DC's student-athletes during the 2023-24 school year. The final part of the program was aimed at recognizing each program's seniors. 

"To each and every one of you who have dedicated years of your life to our athletic program, I want to extend my deepest gratitude and admiration," said Athletic Director Tiffani Selhorst during her closing address to the crowd. "Your commitment, passion, and leadership have been the driving force behind our successes, and your presence will be deeply missed as you embark on the next chapter of your journey." Selhorst continued in saying, "As you prepare to take your final bows and hang up your jerseys, know that your impact on our athletic community will endure long after you have graduated. Your contributions have helped shape the fabric of our program, and your presence will be felt in every victory, every triumph, and every lesson learned. You have left a mark on our program, and we are eternally grateful for the years you have given us."
