Women's Cross Country Ends Season at NCAA Regional

POWELL, OHIO -- The Defiance College women's cross country team sent a trio of athletes to the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Cross Country Championship, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday.
Leading the Yellow Jackets was freshman Olivia Fett (Defiance) wrapped up her season with a six-kilometer time of 24:53.7 and with a 114th place finish. Following Fett was senior Aaron Textor (Swanton), who wrapped up her career with the Purple & Gold with a time of 26:48.3, placing in the 190th position. Freshman Kenna Bell (Piqua) followed closely behind, running a 27:13.1 and garnering a 196th place finish.
Hope (Mich.) College and Calvin (Mich.) College wrapped up the afternoon with a 1-2 finish in the meet, while Oberlin's Linnea Halsten ran a 21:37.3 to win the race individually.
