Track and Field competes at Huntington Invite

The Defiance track and field teams competed at the Huntington Invite on Thursday afternoon. The event which was hosted by Huntington University did not record team scores.

Notable Performances

• Freshman Deuntray Drennon placed fourth in the 100-meters with a time of 11.34 seconds.
• Sophomore John Reese placed third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.03.
• The 4x400 relay team placed second out of five teams.
• Freshman Traci Cross placed fourth in the 100-meters with a time of 12.65 seconds while senior Lisa Markau placed sixth clocking in at 12.74 seconds.
• In the 200-meters, Cross (27.03 seconds) finished third while Markau (27.89 seconds) placed seventh.
