Women's Track & Field Competes at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invite
TERRE HAUTE, IND. - The Defiance College women's track and field team opened the outdoor season at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invite hosted Saturday afternoon at the William M. Welch Track Complex.

Junior Madi Bowman led the way for the Yellow Jackets taken second in the discus throw with a distance 32.12 meters.
Sophomore Meagan Trimpey claimed fifth in the pole vault with a 2.97 meter height, while Bowman also claimed second in the hammer toss with a distance of 39.99 meters.
In the 100-meter dash, freshman Lisa Maria Markau took sixth in a time of 13.59.
The Yellow Jackets return to action on Saturday, March 23 as they compete at the Indiana Wesleyan Invite.
