DC Wraps Up Indoor Schedule at Ohio Northern

Freshman Meagan Trimpey (Bowling Green) completed her first pentathlon of her collegiate career, placing in 13th place with 1496 total points, the fifth best mark in school history.Trimpey's best finish came in the long jump, where her eighth place jump of 4.61 meters (15 feet, 1.5 inches) scored her 456 points. She added a 10th place finish in the 60 meter hurdles as well, where she was just 0.06 seconds away from the school's top 10 leaderboard in the event.
On Saturday, senior Brooke Waidelich (Pettisville) competed in the weight throw for the final time in her collegiate career. Waidelich placed in the fourth position with a best toss of 14.66 meters (48 feet, 1.25 inches). The senior finished her college career sitting in the second spot on the all-time list to go along with her HCAC Championship she won two weeks ago.
The Yellow Jackets will now shift their focus to the outdoor portion of the schedule, which kicks off on Saturday, Mar. 17 when they travel to Terre Haute, Ind. for the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational. Action is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
