Women's Golf wins Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational
The Defiance Women's Golf team started off the season in winning fashion taking first place at the Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational with a total team score of 716 (355-361).

The Basics
- The event was hosted by Defiance and held at Moose Landing Country Club.
- Defiance took the top spot with a team score of 716.
- The Yellow Jackets shot a program best 355 in Round 1.
- Baldwin Wallace's Brooke Newsome took the top spot by shooting a combined score of 170 (84-86).
- Mari Najar led the Yellow Jackets with a second place finish shooting a combined total of 171 (87-84).
On The Course
- Sophomore Winter Boroff shot a two-day score of 178 (87-91) and finished third in the contest.
- Sophomore Alexis Devries finished with a combined score of 179 (86-93) and finished fourth.
- Freshman Cassady Van Dyke ended the outing with a combined total of 188 (95-93).
- Sophomore Isabelle Vance shot a final combined score of 194 (99-95).
- Senior Julia Yeager played as an individual and shot a two-day score of 186 (89-97).
- Sophomore Aubrey Bujalski played as an individual and finished with a combined score of 189 (92-97).
- Junior Taylor Greilich played as an individual and shot a combined total of 203 (98-105).
