Women's Golf competes in Wooster Fall Invitational
The Defiance women's golf team competed at the Wooster Fall Invitational over the weekend.

The Basics
- The event was hosted by the College of Wooster and took place at the Mohican Hills Golf Club in Jeffersonville, Ohio.
- The Yellow Jackets finished seventh of a ten team field and shot a combined team score of 770 (391-379).
- Allegheny ended the tournament in first place with a score of 660 (333-327).
On The Course
- Freshman Alexis Devries led Defiance over the weekend shooting a combined two-day score of 184 (93-91) and finished 24th.
- Senior Shelby Mercer ended the outing in 34th place and scored a 192 (97-95).
- Junior Mari Najar finished shooting a 194 (102-92) and placed 35th.
- Freshman Winter Boroff shot a combined score of 200 (99-101) and finished 41st.
- Sophomore Taylor Greilich rounded out the tournament for the Yellow Jackets placing 50th and ended with a score of 230 (118-112)

- The Yellow Jackets next compete at the HCAC Championships with Day 1 starting on Friday, October 8. The three-day tournament will held at The Legends Golf Club in Franklin, Indiana.
