Women's Golf finishes sixth at Beaver Classic
The Defiance women's golf team finished in sixth place at the Beaver Classic over the weekend.

The Basics
- The event was hosted by Bluffton University and took place at the Bluffton Golf Club in Bluffton, Ohio.
- The Yellow Jackets finished sixth of a nine team field and shot a combined team score of 751 (367-384).
- Ohio Northern ended the tournament in first place with a score of 639 (323-316).
On The Course
- Junior Mari Najar shot a combined score of 183 (90-93) and finished tied for 15th.
- Freshman Winter Boroff ended the weekend tied for 20th after shooting a score of 186 (92-94)
- Freshman Alexis Devries finished tied for 26th and shot a combined score of 188 (89-99).
- Senior Shelby Mercer recorded a 194 (96-98) and ended the tournament tied for 31st.
