Women's golf tied for fourth after Day 1 of Beaver Fall Classic
The Defiance women's golf team is tied for fourth place after Day 1 of the Beaver Fall Classic.
The Defiance women's golf team competed in Day 1 of the Beaver Fall Classic on Saturday afternoon.
The Basics
- The event was hosted by Bluffton University and took place at the Bluffton Golf Club in Bluffton, Ohio.
- The Yellow Jackets are currently tied for fourth of nine teams and shot a combined team score of 367.
- Ohio Northern is in first place with a score of 323.
On The Course
- Freshman Alexis Devries is tied for sixth place after shooting an 89
- Junior Mari Najar shot a 90 and is in 14th place.
- Freshman Winter Boroff shot a 92 and is tied for 17th.
- Senior Shelby Mercer shot a 96 and is tied for 26th.
