Defiance softball senior Kalin Hubble broke two records today in becoming the all-time career leader in RBIs and doubles against Transylvania. The Yellow Jackets fell in both games falling in Game 1, 7-2 and Game 2, 8-7.

Notables: During Game 1 of the doubleheader Hubble smacked her record breaking 39th double to become Defiance softball's all-time career doubles leader. She passes current head coach Megan Warren ('14-'19) who previously held the record. Then in Game 2, she notched her 112th career RBI to break the record that was previously held by Marah Robinson ('08-'11) who had 111 career RBIs.

Inside The Numbers
- Senior Taylor Biggs earned the start on the mound for the Yellow Jackets and pitched all seven innings. She allowed seven runs off nine hits and struckout five batters.
- Junior Josilyn Guzman led Defiance with one hit and one RBI.
- Hubble, sophomore Brooke Silcox, senior Hali Geraci, and sophomore Genesis Brooks all each recorded one hit.
- Carlee Jeter started in the circle for the Pioneers pitching all seven innings. She allowed two runs off five hits and tallied nine strikeouts.

Notables: During Game 1 of the doubleheader Hubble crossed home plate and became the all-time career runs leader for the Defiance softball program with 109. She passed Jordan Osbourn ('16-'19) who previously held the record with 108 runs.

- Freshman Anika Craft started on the mound the Yellow Jackets and pitched the first 4.1 innings. She allowed five runs off nine hits and recorded six strikeouts.
- Hubble led Defiance at the plate with two hits and three RBIs.

- Junior Marissa Roberts freshman Destiny Coil each notched two hits during the contest.
- Senior Sophie Moller grabbed one hit and two RBIs.

- The Yellow Jackets grabbed an early 4-0 lead in the first inning.
