Softball sweeps Adrian, Biggs notches 200th career K
The Defiance softball team swept Adrian on a cold, windy Thursday afternoon taking Game 1 in five innings 10-2 and Game 2 in six innings, 9-3.
The Defiance softball team swept Adrian on a cold, windy Thursday afternoon taking Game 1 in five innings 10-2 and Game 2 in six innings, 9-3.
Notables: In the first inning of Game 1, senior pitcher Taylor Biggs notched her 200th career strikeout and became the sixth Yellow Jacket pitcher to reach the career milestone.

Game 1
Inside The Numbers
- Biggs started Game 1 on the mound for the Yellow Jackets and pitched all five innings. She allowed two runs off six hits and struckout six batters in the win.
