The game remained scoreless for 29 minutes until Jordan Ambrose scored with one minute remaining to give the Yellow Jackets a 7-0 lead into halftime.

Offenses came to life in the third quarter and entire second half as the teams combined for 47 second half points.

Anderson scored two straight touchdowns to get within four points, 26-22, but Defiance held off the Ravens when Tyshaun Freeman found the end zone with five minutes remaining to give his team a ten point lead.

The Defiance defense held strong the rest of the way despite giving up two big chunk plays that resulted in two Anderson touchdowns.
