Esports loses League of Legends match to first-place Lourdes
DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College esports’ League of Legends team lost, 2-0, in a best-of-three series to a strong Lourdes University squad on Wednesday evening in Great Lakes Esports Conference action.

"It was a hard-fought second game to try to make a comeback against the first-place team in the league," DC head coach Chris Sanders said. "Stephen Jones had two large shutdowns to try to bring us back in a game where we were far behind."
Defiance slips to 1-3 in LoL this season while Lourdes is 6-1 overall, including a perfect 4-0 in the GLEC. The Yellow Jackets are slated to play LoL again next week against Marietta College.
