DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College esports got a second straight come-from-behind victory from its Rocket League team on Wednesday night against Lourdes University. Defiance posted a hard-fought 3-2 triumph in the best-of-five series in Great Lakes Esports Conference play.

After taking the first game, 1-0, the Yellow Jackets fell in games two and three. For the second time in the last five days, DC was able to storm back and claim the series, this time with slim 2-1 and 1-0 wins in the fourth and final games, respectively.
Aaron Sommers collected three goals for Defiance with two of them coming in the 1-0 victories. Joshua Szostek added two goals, both scored in game four.
The Rocket League squad, now 2-1 on the season, is scheduled to play again on Oct. 3 versus GLEC foe Bethel University of Indiana.
