Waterman headlines four athletes named to All-HCAC team

Darin Waterman (Celina, Ohio / Celina) headlined the list, with Ryan Kohlhofer (Walbridge, Ohio / Lake), Ben Weber (Troy, Ohio / Lehman Catholic), and Ian Burkhart (Fremont, Ind. / Fremont) also being named to all-conference teams.
Waterman led the Yellow Jackets by being named to the All-HCAC Second Team. He was named to the team as the DH. Waterman led DC in hits with 46 and in home runs with four. His four homers were also good enough to be tied for 11th in the HCAC. Waterman also led the Purple and Gold with 66 total bases on the season.
Weber led the team in batting average with a .325 mark and was named to the All-HCAC Honorable Mention Team. He led the team in on-base percentage as well, reaching on .413 percent of his at bats.
With nine doubles, Kohlhofer led the Yellow Jackets in that category. His 20 RBIs also helped the sophomore to an honorable mention slot on the All-HCAC squad.
Burkhart was selected to the All-HCAC Sportsmanship Team for DC. He totaled three hits and two runs on the season.
